STMA 584 - Lutheran Confessions
Through lecture and discussion, reading of the Book of Concord and selected secondary sources, this course explores the historical situation in which the Lutheran confessions were written, seeks to comprehend the Lutheran confessions’ witness to the Gospel, and learn how the Lutheran confessions may function to inform the proclamation of the Gospel in the church today.3
