STMA 579 - UUA Polity Examines the development of governance structures for the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). It includes consideration of polity issues in its European beginnings, Colonial polity in New England, Universalist polity in America, and merger issues. Polity development is linked to civil governance in the U.S. Students will examine their own experience in light of the history and will address meaning in relationship to their ministries.3
