STMA 527 - Prophets

Students engage in close readings of selected passages from the prophetic books (Nevi’im). This involves study of the basic themes and functions of the prophetic movement with special emphasis on how the prophets’ call for justice reshaped the faith of Israel in a new historical situation. Prerequisite: STMM 5263
