NURS 566 - Primary Care of Older Adults

Focuses on evidenced based practice approaches to primary care management of common acute and chronic conditions of the elderly and on physiological, psychosocial and pharmacological interventions. Age related, cultural, family and community variations will be incorporated into the review of clinical practice guidelines for common chronic and acute conditions. Prerequisites: NURS 501, 521, 522, 524. Co-requisite: NURS 5673
