NURS 519 - Advanced Practice in Community and Organizational Nursing II


Advanced nursing practice among vulnerable families, groups, and communities/populations. Emphasis on the integration of advanced practice role of clinician, consultant, collaborator, educator, and researcher. Seminar and 150-300 hours of clinical experience in course provide opportunities to integrate theory, concepts, and research with synthesis of role components. Prerequisites: NURS 507, 516. Co-requisite: NURS 550. 3
