SPSY 501 - Introduction to School Psychology

Provides an orientation to the program and an introduction to the role of the school psychologist, history and foundations of the profession, domains of practice, and future trends within the field of school psychology. The course includes a reflection-based field experience in which students shadow a practicing school psychologist.3
