EVST 4840 - Environmental Justice5 credit hours Formerly - EVST 484 Examines the intersecting ecological, sociological, and moral dimensions of human environmental impacts, particularly with regard to marginalized peoples. Students will gain an understanding of basic environmental justice issues, will develop analytical skills of quantitative assessment, map interpretation, and other forms of problem solving, and will research, critically evaluate, and propose solutions for specific cases of possible environmental injustice.
